Deposit conditions

  • Deposit amount
    • Min – 1,500 GEL | 1,000 USD/EUR
  • Deposit term
    • Min term – 3 months
    • Max term – 24 months
  • Interest withdrawal – in advance, at the end of month/term
  • Deposit term breach - Breaching the deposit needs approval from the Bank. In case of breaching the deposit (not less than six months after opening the deposit), half of the interest rate applicable by the bank for the on-demand deposit in the moment of breach will be accrued.

  • In case of interest withdrawal on a monthly basis, 0.5% in GEL and 0.25% in USD/EUR, will be deducted from given Annual Interest rates. 
  • In case of interest withdrawal in advance, 1.5% in GEL and 0.75% in USD/EUR, will be deducted from given Annual Interest rates. 
  • In case of non-resident persons, Interest rate is different.
  • If the deposit amount exceeds 2,000,000 GEL/1,000,000 USD/EUR, the interest rates are determined individually.

From January 1, 2018, the Bank participates in the deposit insurance system established on the basis of the Law of Georgia on the Deposit Insurance System. In case of an insurance event, the amount available on the depositor's deposit / account will be reimbursed by the Deposit Insurance Agency within the amount of GEL 15,000, while the remaining amount will be reimbursed in accordance with the current legislation.
